Javier Szymanski

Meet Javier Szymanski, an integral part of the caregiving team at Dogs Paradise. Javier is currently in the final year of his apprenticeship and is set to graduate in June with a CFC in animal care, a certification that demonstrates his proficiency and dedication to the well-being of animals.

Javier’s role at Dogs Paradise involves a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to the daily operations of the facility. He welcomes visitors, provides food and walks for the dogs, administers first aid, transports the dogs, and ensures their living spaces are clean and comfortable. His experience extends beyond Dogs Paradise, as he has also completed an internship at SPA La Côte in Nyon, where he cared for dogs, cats, and other small pets.

His commitment to animal care is evident in his extensive experience, which includes previous apprenticeships and volunteer work at SGPA in Geneva and the Centre de Réadaptation des Rapaces, where he cared for birds of prey. Javier has also gained valuable experience in pet sitting, where he provided walks, feeding, and care for dogs and cats.

Javier’s educational journey at EPSIC in Lausanne has equipped him with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in his role as an animal caregiver. His passion for animals and nature, combined with his hands-on experience, makes him a compassionate and skilled caregiver who is an asset to the Dogs Paradise team.
