DOG DAYCARE

Why is your dog so happy to see us?

Our highly trained and passionate caregivers provide your dog with an enriching experience
that surpasses your dog spending the day at home alone. At our center, your dog gets to ramp and play with all of their friends and is provided immense love from the caregivers.
The value of good play is really about socialization and knowing that your canine companion is getting exercise all day long; it’s good for their heart, their weight and their overall well-being ultimately deepening their relationship with you!

Our number one priority is always the safety and well-being of our guests.

Team Dogs Paradise

Our center provides 160 square meters of personalized space that was architecturally engineered for an engaging dog play area. Dogs are grouped by size and temperament into our “small” dog area or “big” dog area. Our caregivers are always supervising your dog as we also participate in the fun, playing and loving on them and making sure they feel at home.

  • The Importance of Doggy Daycare

    REDUCE ANXIETY AND STRESS

Destructive chewing, barking, digging, and house soiling are often the result of boredom, under-stimulation, or lack of exercise. Dogs Paradise provides your dog with the exercise and stimulation.

  • The Importance of Doggy Daycare

    SOCIALIZATION

Dogs are pack animals; therefore, being alone can be distressing. In fact, many wild dogs go from birth to death with out spending a minute alone! At Dogs Paradise your pooch will enjoy romping and playing all day long.

  • The Importance of Doggy Daycare

    EXERCISE

Your dog will spend the day running, wrestling, play ball, tug-of-war, take walks. They will be exercised and well behaved when you come to pick them up!

What is doggy daycare?

Doggy day care is an environment where dogs are dropped off for the day to play with other dogs in a fun, safe, well-supervised and clean environment. Dogs Paradise has many benefits including:

  • Helps promote good mental and physical health through exercise and socialization.
  • Helps prevent destructive behavior that stems from boredom and/or loneliness.
  • Reinforces good socialization skills that allow your dog to behave in a public setting.
  • Helps relieve separation anxiety.

What is the Trial Day?

All new dogs to Dogs Paradise must first pass a trial-day in order to participate in Daycare.

You can plan on being with us for about 15 minutes while we get your dog started, but plan on leaving your pup with us for at least half day.

During this time our highly trained staff will slowly begin introducing your dog to the rest of the dogs, one at a time to ensure the highest level of comfort that is possible.

At pickup that day we will give you a run-down on how they did, and assuming all goes well you will be welcome to bring them back any time after that to our daycare.

What are all of the eligibility requirements for daycare?
  1. Complete a Dog Evaluation Form and submit to Dogs Paradise.
  2. Your dog must be four months or older, with all shots completed.
  3. Your dog must be current on all vaccinations, including the Kennel Cough, and Rabies.
  4. Your dog must be spayed/neutered by 6 months of age, but we will make exceptions up to 9 months of age if the vet would like to wait, but depending on their temperament, we may require that they wait until they are fixed to play here.
  5. Your dog must be in good health.
  6. Your dog must be treated monthly for fleas and ticks.
  7. Your dog must pass a temperament testing process – the Trial Day.
How are the dogs fed? Do I have to bring my own food?

We encourage you to bring in your dog’s food to keep them on the diet they are accustomed to, and we will feed them on the schedule you specify: breakfast/lunch/dinner. We just need to know how much your dog should eat at each meal (i.e. 1 cup) so we can measure it out properly.

All of the dogs are fed separately.  Some of our dogs have allergies and sensitive systems so we will not give them anything that you do not give us permission to!  We have freezer/refrigeration/microwave capabilities.

If you have questions about our ability to handle your dog’s specific needs please let us know!

How does a daycare package work?

We offer 5, 10 or 20 full day packages. Our daycare packages are paid in full up front, so just let us know that you want to start on a package. Once we take payment you are all set, and each time that your dog comes in we will automatically deduct a day from their package.

Our most common packages are our 10 and 20 visit packages. These packages expire 90 days after the first day of use.  We also offer a monthly or “fulltime” package that is designed for our dogs that need care 5 days per week, and it expires 30 days after the first day of use.  If your dog needs care only 4 days per week, then you are better off with a 20 day package.

How do I know if my dog is out of daycare days?

We provide regular feedback on daycare packages. An email is sent halfway through each package to remind you where you are at with your days. For the twenty day package we send an update at the 10th and 15th

You are always welcome to contact us at any time to have a detailed account of the days that have been used and those that are scheduled.

First Time Guests

All new dogs to Dogs Paradise must first pass a trial-day in order to participate in Daycare. During this time our highly trained staff will slowly begin introducing your dog to the rest of the dogs, one at a time. This helps ensure we find the right play group for your dog, and serves to help screen out unfriendly dogs.
